Studio 7117 Presents:
Handpoke 101 Workshop
April 10, 2026 4-6 PM
117 Cherry St Seattle, WA 98104
Hosted by Molica Chau
Handpoke 101 with Molica Chau is an intimate, hands-on workshop exploring the art of traditional tattooing through intention, care, and presence. Molica has been a consistent creative force at Studio 7117—tattooing throughout our art walks, Khmer-centered events, and offering 1:1 sessions that hold deep trust and connection within our community.
This workshop is more than technique—it’s about returning to the ritual. Handpoke tattooing is a slow, deliberate process that mirrors ceremony: each mark made with breath, each moment grounded in the body. Hosting this at Studio 7117 is intentional. As a Khmer-owned space rooted in healing, lineage, and creative expression, the studio holds the same values that live within handpoke practice—patience, ancestral connection, and sacred exchange.
With Molica as a Khmer artist guiding this experience, Handpoke 101 becomes a space to learn, remember, and reconnect—to the body, to culture, and to the act of creating with care.
