7117 World Cup Watch Party - Iran Vs Egypt
Join us for an unforgettable evening as we gather in community to witness the FIFA World Cup Group G match between Egypt and Iran, taking place in Seattle on June 26. This highly anticipated match brings together two historic football nations in a game that could determine who advances to the knockout rounds under the roof of Studio 7117, an urban ashram.
This is a community celebration of culture and creativity through a universal sport, soccer!
DJ Nostalgia B
Spinning an all-vinyl set throughout the evening, bringing together sounds from across the diaspora and beyond.
Ari Glass
Live painting during the event, creating artwork inspired by the energy of the match and the gathering itself.
Heidi Grace Acuña
Featuring pieces from her One World Collection, a fashion showcasing reworked vintage soccer jerseys.
Tuesday Talaga
Serving free Arab food with Egyptian and Iranian dishes for the community.
World Cup Screening
Watch Egypt and Iran face off live on the big screen alongside artists, families, soccer fans, and community members from across Seattle. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:00 PM PT.
At Studio 7117, we believe sports can be a bridge between cultures. This evening invites us to gather through our joy for soccer, celebrate our shared humanity, and experience the power of art, music, fashion, and storytelling in community.
Whether you're here for the match, the music, the art, or simply to be in good company, all are very welcome.

“ ‘a flower again’
a blooming began in my carpeted tucked away 1-bedroom apartment of north hollywood.
my soil dense with motherhood, grief, love, music.
as i water that soil, i discover an expansive world blooming beyond myself, before myself, after myself.
and now i see.
together i.
together we.
become

This week we are excited to be hosting an art show + iftar with @studio.7117, as part of the First Thursday Pioneer Square Art Walk!
For the artist, the act of creation is a form of seeking. Every stroke of a brush, every line of poetry, and every captured photograph is a reflection of the Divine Beauty (Al-Jamal) found in the world around us.
This evening is dedicated to the Muslim artists of Seattle those who have often searched for a space where their work is not just seen, but truly celebrated.
We invite all attendees, whether you are displaying art or coming to appreciate it to join us!
Please register so we can get a headcount for the iftar meal.
Food catered by @salimaspecialties 🍚
@minasmatchacafe will be on site if you’d like to buy drinks! 🍵
