Exploring a camera-less “sun printing” photographic technique, Reflections, combines film photography and collage to create deconstructed surrealist landscapes. Drawing from the Apsara dance, I intertwine their dreamlike fluid gestures into scenes of everyday life, cattle grazing in the countryside to motorbikes weaving through the bustling streets of Phnom Penh. The mirrored compositions linger in the tension between beauty and mundane, repatriation and diaspora, the surreal with reality, manifesting as a doubling of worlds.
